|  Was supposed to watch Dillinger with my friend, but seeing as I was late by 15 minutes, we decided to test out the 5D with night shooting. I was using 2 flashes at the National Harbor in Maryland.

| Night test with the 5D Mark 2
 I wish I had my tripod. The body is in the car, but I think the head is still with Qiao. I used my 2006 Honda Civic, pressing the camera against my window. I shot at like 6400 ISO.
Now, if you look at my stats on flickr, it'll say it's shot with the 30D, which is odd. But I think that's b/c when I created my template for my signature, I used an old photo to ensure I had the right sizes. Afterwards, whenever I finish editing a shot, I'll just drag the finished photo into that old template. Now all my information says I shoot with a 30D. HAHAHAHA
I don't think that made sense to anyone but me.

|  So I got my 5D Mark II, yesterday and today got the battery grip and 580EX Flash. So I decided to mess wth using 2 flashes, the 430EX as a slave, and the new 580EX as the master. I posed a Shana figurine I got from Japan along with my old camera, Noir, the 30D.

Man, is it just me, or is Xanga dying. My old photog crew hardly posts on xanga anymore, it's all on blogs on their webpages. I've also contemplated on leaving, but then, no one would comment on my crap. Not that anyone really does. I mean, my fiancee updates ONCE a month, and she gets like 15 freak comments, and 40 some eprops. While I update regularlarly and get like 3 comments. Btw, thank you everyone that comments on my page. It makes me feel love. I run on eprops... But eprops aside, I'm tired of my 30D. I mean, I still love her, but I need to get the 5D. I think I'll hold off on the battery grip though, b/c I need to upgrade my flash unit to the 580EX. Plus, I should get my 24-70 recalibrated. I should do this BEFORE May's wedding. |
